According to BlockBeats, the Bitcoin-themed summit BTC ECO SUMMIT, co-hosted by Bitcoin Layer 2 project BEVM and Bitcoin Magazine’s investment arm UTXO, successfully commenced at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore on September 18. The event is part of the Token2049 conference and is the only Bitcoin-themed sub-event officially authorized by Token2049. The summit will run concurrently with the main conference for two days.
BEVM Co-Founder Hakan and UTXO Founding Partner John Riggins delivered the opening speeches. The summit features a range of prominent speakers, including Curve Finance Founder Michael Egorov, Ballet Wallet and Bitcoin Foundation core member Bobby Lee, BEVM Co-Founder Hakan, UTXO Founding Partner John Riggins, Bitmain VP Irene Gao, Polychain Capital’s Ibrahim Yusufali, Animoca Brand’s David, and Lightning Ventures Partner Dr. Khushboo Khullar. The discussions will focus on various Bitcoin ecosystem topics such as Bitcoin expansion solutions, Bitcoin mining, BTCFI, and the Lightning Network.
